DYNOJET PV4 FOR RYKER with CUSTOM TUNING by BLR TUNING
Both horns are high tone??
Yes they were both high tone. I have seen other vehicles with low tone and high tone.
Yeah, I might have to check this out. You got my attention when you said “waterproof”. I recently just sent my pedal commander back to Slingmods, because it almost killed me. Went totally psycho while I was sitting at a stoplight. Revved uncontrollably. I swerved to the left to avoid the Jeep grand Cherokee in front of me, then ended up bottomed out straddling on the median. Had that median not been there…… I would’ve headed straight into oncoming traffic. I’m guessing it got fucking wet somehow.
We've tested this new product from Dynojet in the pouring down rain, in the snow, and out in the hot sun. We have not seen one fail yet. That is literally why they created this product for the ryker. These throttle commanders that they make were originally designed for side by sides where they deal with lots of heavy mud, sand, snow, all types of different weather. I have them on sale right now on my website. I have them in stock. We ship anywhere in the US. www.blrtuning.co/products/dynojet-throttle-commander-for-can-am-ryker
Yeah, it’s pretty unfathomable that Pedal Commander could even consider putting something “not waterproof” on a motorcycle without creating an alternative version first. I’m glad that someone finally did it, and I know that Dynojet is pretty reputable. Plus, really like the idea of a clickable dial, as opposed to electronic push buttons. Not to mention the fact that you can’t even see the indicator light half of the time on the PC.
@Doomfreak90 another awesome feature is that if you find a setting that you really like you can turn the dial and leave it at that setting. Then unplug the dial all together. The throttle commander will stay at whatever setting you put it at. You can also get creative and drill a hole through the plastic somewhere and just have that little knob sticking out of the actual plastic on the bike. Lots of different possibilities with this device.
What universal tank grips did you use?
That was actually a universal kit which is tech spec branded. We cut them out ourselves. We will have these available on our website hopefully within the next couple weeks.
Sheeeshhh🔥🔥🔥
Thanks appreciate the comment. Thank you for subscribing to the channel
Is there a link to those? I need the yellow ones
Hi Bill, I’m having issues showing my speed on the cluster. I see the speed sensor wire however mine is connected to a white w red tracer wire. Just trying to show my speed. Thank you for any help!
It could be that the speed sensor itself has went out.
@@BLRTUNINGis there a way to test that it went out? I the bike had an aftermarket cluster hooked up that I tossed bc it was broken. Other than abs and the speed sensor everything works. Other than the rear brake does not light up the taillight when you press it. I’ve put power from that location and the brake light lights up but it seems it’s not getting connections from myself pressing the brake. Sorry for the long message. I figured I’d let you know some info on the bike.
@paulvaness95 I I'm not sure how you would test the speed sensor itself
Is there an oil level gauge in the cluster display
No there is not
I know this is an older vid bit is the 2023 the same disassembly? A coworker backed into my bike and now I gotta replace the tank
Yes they didn't really change anything for the 2023 model other than the ECU
Hi,,, the 400 is an open loop system, from start up to fully hot it stays open loop running off pre programmed info and using the pressure sensor for adjusting which is understood from OL that the O2 sensor is ignored and the ECU is going outside to find out what to do with fuel,,,, when would you say the 400 goes closed loop?,,,,because from my understanding it never goes into closed loop,,,,thanks.👍
Closed loop using the O2 sensor for fuel mapping is done from RPM ranges zero, idle, all the way out till almost 8000 RPM. Acceleration almost up to 80% throttle at the hand grip. All of that area in the fuel map is using the O2 sensor to determine whether it is running lean or rich based on a 14.7 AFR or lambda 1.0 stoichiometric value... Everything outside those ranges is running on a pre-programmed fuel map which is known as open loop. When you delete the O2 sensor the entire bike is running open loop depending on how you delete that O2 sensor.
One sexy bad ass machine!
Ok so on the baffle the cap that is in it at the end of can that cap b moved up the baffle some or would it b too much pressure if its moved up the baffle
It's not adjustable from my knowledge
nothing pops up when i connect my power vision to my computer, and it doesnt show up in my file explorer
Make sure you're using a updated Windows computer, make sure you have all the correct USB drivers installed on that computer try a different USB port. Try a different computer. These are just some of the suggestions that we would throw out there. Hard to say what's going on without having it in person. If you need further assistance you should send an email to pv3tech@dynojet.com
This is the best wrap I’ve seen
WWW.AMRRACING.COM has the best vinyl wraps that you can buy.
nortons ram air states it is NOT compatible with ABS on the bike and that ABS must be removed before hand. Why would this be?
Yeah I'm not sure. The bike I'm working on in this video is ABS model and the ABS hardware has never been removed. I don't know why you would have to remove ABS hardware to make an air intake system work. Perhaps message them and ask them
Howdy. Are you still offering free tuning codes for folks that buy the PV3 using your code? I need to replace my belt and might as well invest in this now to reset my code and do future work
You can order a PV3 through our website and you can purchase it with a custom tune. If you purchase with a custom tune we can offer 10% off by using discount code: BLUEDRAGON This link will take you to the Pv3 on our website be sure to check the box that says yes I want a custom tune. www.blrtuning.co/products/can-am-ryker-pv3-25-11-by-dynojet
yep that’s what I did already! I saw in the video description you are offering to share tuning codes. I’m curious about that is what I meant to say!
We charge for tuning but we do offer a discount if you're ordering the PV3 with a tune... The tune is built specifically for your modifications on your bike. The PV3 can clear the CVT belt maintenance code without a custom tune though. If you decide to go that route. If you want more horsepower and more torque then tuning would be the biggest performance modification that you can do to these bikes as they are very locked down from the factory.
Very informative video, thanks for that.
Thank you for subscribing to the channel. Glad my video helped
Is it still possible to buy such exhaust in 2024 ? Also, in France ?
You would have to look on Amazon
Have u ever had to change the drive shaft in yours?
No I have not
Awesome video . Makes my install alot easier . Ty
What the video helped you out. Thank you for subscribing to the channel.
I wonder how this would do on a 23 grom since the springs are slightly longer on the newer groms
I'm not sure I haven't fitted it up to a newer Grom other than the SF
FYI, I'm installing the same kit and my instructions say 5-1/2" up from the bottom bracket and not 5".
Yeah that's because since that video that I released they have changed the brackets and you'll also notice that the bolts are a lot bigger on the newer kit. So while the installation process may be very similar You should definitely follow the instructions that came in the box.
My ryker wouldn't start today, thought it was the battery, it ended up being the starter relay/solenoid
Nice
This is a reset of the service that the racer installed, and the question is how to reset the kawasaki service that is installed by the dealer at the top?
You would have to talk to your Kawasaki dealer on that one As far as I know this is the only reset option on these bikes. It may not reset everything. That is yet to be determined.
Thank so so much, Great Video 🫶🏽
No problem thank you for subscribing to the channel.
Dear bill were can i get new o rings when i change gear box oil .Thanks
If you can find the size of those o-rings or take an old one out and take it with you to a hardware store they can probably just match it up. They are not anything special. Although if you ask BRP they will probably tell you different.
Since I saw your Woolich items, have you ever seen a s1krr get flashed and then say the VIN can't be detected but you can still pull the VIN from the ECU and read it but can't write that same read back to it? Woolich support in looking into it but it's just weird, i already reflashed the bike 11 times so it's not like it was the first flash.
No I have not seen that happen nor have I heard of it happening.
@BLRTUNING Lol I love being a pioneer. If it's something that they will share with me as far as the fix goes I'll share eit with ya, just in case it pops up in the future. Thanks for replying
Well damn I'll say this Woolich is quick to resolve an issue and good at what they do. Here is their reply. Hi Jason We have found the issue, this particular ECU is storing the VIN at a different location in the EEPROM, we have updated the code to check for this and it should now work allowing you to write to the ECU. This will be available in the next release of WRT which will go out in the next couple of hours.
Yeah they're usually on top of things pretty quickly. That's cool though at least they're going to get it resolved quickly.
Can this exhaust compete w the Leo Vince lv10?
No I wouldn't think so. The LV10 was built on a dyno and designed to make horsepower and torque. This cheap exhaust on Amazon was probably designed in somebody's backyard that had no dyno or no nothing. They probably just found out that it fit that bike and said it's for that bike. I would not recommend this exhaust. Unless you're on a really tight budget and it's the only route that you could go. It's loud obnoxious it's not going to add power. Power comes from tuning things correctly for the parts. You would get more power out of tuning a stockbike.
Thank you I just don’t like the stock. Want something that sounds like it could be a 4 cylinder to the ear and not like a dirt bike on the road.
Completely off topic, but how do you like them rizoma stealth mirrors? Honest opinion please! Im stuck between them, rizoma’s cut edge and crg’s arrow bar end mirrors for my zh2. Im leaning towards the stealth but am interested in your opinion, Good or bad. Thanks in advance and sweet setup on your Z. She’s stunning!
So far there's some of the best mirrors that I've ever used. Visibility is decent. Obviously a bigger mirror would have more visibility but as long as you use lots of blue loctite I haven't had them move on me. The first time I installed them one of them came a little bit loose and wanted to be really easily adjusted but it wasn't really just flopping around. So I pulled the bolt out put more blue loctite on it and snugged it down tight and they've held up ever since. So I'm digging them. So far I think they're the best looking mirrors for the ZH2 and the Ninja H2.
@@BLRTUNING Thanks for taking the time to respond! I appreciate it! I’ll most likely be going with the stealth mirrors as well. Im in agreement with them being the best looking…i just wanted to get an actual owners opinion with them on the bike. Again, i appreciate it. Take care
Black is the NEW Chrome,Awesome Vidi.
Beast of a bike that exhaust sounds awesome 🍻🍻🏍🏍 #kawasaki
Any advice on getting the two rubber lines under the front of the tank off from the tank nipples mine are.on there tight
Yes the first time I took them off they were on there really tight. I used a long flathead screwdriver and got it wedged between the tank and the end of the hose and just slowly worked it down while I was pulling down also. You'll have to have someone hold the tank up or support it somehow with a board or something like that. It was kind of a pain in the butt that's for sure. To be clear so we are talking about the same thing it's the two breather lines underneath the fuel tank that you have to take off in order to remove the tank. That's what I'm talking about
@BLRTUNING Yes, it's been quite the task justbdidnt known if there were any tips. Thank you for that one. I read some forms, and one person mentioned a good idea he used a paint can opener and did the same thing you just mentioned
@BLRTUNING ok, so got the tube's off the best method without any task specific tools was definitely the paint can opener and most home depots will give them to you for free. I did put a little piece of electric tape on the end of it to gove it more of a blunt edge, but it worked beautifully.

@BLRTUNING Yes, of course, great channel deff helped get me started coming from working on all italian bikes to now a zh2 was quite the learning curb, so thank you for taking the time to make that video. Keep up the good work my friend.
Alot of stuff but nobody talks about the high pressure fuel filter, is it built into the pump housing? If it is you know its junk,,,, saw a guy put the upgrade fuel pump that pulls 13.5 amps at 90psi but I forgot to ask where the high pressure fuel filter was, ,,,was it an external bypass or the stock junk that cloggs and can't be cleaned?????😮😮😮😮😮😮😅
You're probably talking about the one from extreme creations. They make a ton of high-end parts for these bikes to get them to make some serious horsepower
@@BLRTUNING I noticed that the shops in Europe are far more advanced then in America, in the States you get the tune-flash without the other stuff,,,,,, a ninja 400 comes to about $30,000.00 or more with the other stuff.😭.....
Just ordered a 2024 Ryker Sport. I will be getting this set! New subscriber, lots of great content!!

Thanks for the awesome tune Bill. Looking forward to working with you more.
Glad I have the opportunity to tune the bike. Thank you
All that work for that little launch? I don’t get it.
Some people never will. You have to remember this is a drag bike we take it to the drag strip. It is fully set up to open up a can of whoop ass at the track. On the street that launch control going to slip and slide everywhere. On a drag radial she pulls wheelies off the launch control off the line. That launch control that you're not understanding made this bike the second fastest non-turbo ryker in the world. With the fastest one non-turbo owned by TREAL Performance who makes the exhaust system and the RAM area intake system that is on our bike and there's as well. You know what our bike and their bike also have in common... Both running this two-step launch control... #1 & #2 It's not for everyone. You're not expected to understand it. Those that do understand it probably want it. Nothing but love.... If you have questions and you'd like to understand more about it and what it does and what its functions are and how to program it feel free to send us an email. blrtuning.tech@gmail.com Thanks for subscribing to the channel. Hope you have a wonderful day.
will this work on a 2023 ninja z400?
Yes
I got my 21' with these lights front and back. It has the hyper flash and after seeing that relay install....I'll be more than happy to have hyperflash. LOL.
Yeah I'm not sure why Kawasaki decided to put that right there. It's in one of the strangest locations I've ever seen on any bike. It was very hard to find and there is no notes anywhere in the owner's manual or anything like that that I could find anywhere. We had to do a lot of research and follow a lot of different wires to figure out where that thing was. It was not fun to get to either there's a lot of stuff that has to come apart to be able to find it up inside there.
@@BLRTUNING When/If you decide to tune it I would go with a BT-Moto flash unless you want to see a real nightmare of getting the ECU out. It's in a cage behind the headlight. It can easily be flashed through the Euro5 diag plug though with a BT-Moto tuner or if you have a local place that flashes that can just plug in and tune.
@Supercharged1976 you do realize we are an ECU flash tuning company.... correct... I tune bikes for a living.... We've already done all the d- restriction stuff. Then our fuel is controlled through the PC6. Feel free to check out our website. We have tuning options for tons of bikes. We offer ECU flash tuning whether that's in person or mail-in ECU for Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki. We use Woolwich racing software which is the gold standard for ECU flash tuning. It's what pretty much every company out there uses.
@@BLRTUNING Oh yeah duh...sorry I forgot who I was messaging. LOL! Used to talking to guys on the Z H2 pages and forums man my bad. Yeah mine has the Woolwich flash dyno'ed 227 and it was very humid so on a nice cool day prolly 230+. The real time fuel monitoring from the PC6 would be amazing but to be honest I don't trust myself or any shop in my area to even attempt that. Hell they can't even switch out my cruise control cancel switch on my clutch side without destroying my master cylinder where the clutch switch screws into. Then tell me "We recommend a new master cylinder at this point" Cool you destroyed it so you can pay for it. That's what I get to deal with around here.
@Supercharged1976 damn that sucks. Yeah this bike has the ECU flashed by us and then PC6 with WB2 which also has autotune and an AFR gauge mounted on the dash. We sell the AFR gauge kit but obviously you would have to have the WB2 if you just wanted wide band if you wanted to be able to control it you would have to have PC6 installed. It's pretty sweet little setup keeps the bike in order in real time just while you're out riding.
What kind of HP numbers are you getting from this set up and is there a link to this build with what all parts were used?
No horsepower numbers all tuning was done through just simple road tuning and a little bit of work in the shop. No link just a little garage build. I'm just the tuner I didn't put any of the parts together.
@@BLRTUNING I've been looking at the RZR 800 s and 900 s in my area and have been on the wall about which one to get. On average there is a 2,500 dollar price difference between the 2. I've driven my brother's tyrex which supposedly has 10 more HP than a RZR 800 does and I thought it was kind of a dog in the woods. Also drove a 2023 general which has more than enough power for the woods. I have a Polaris FST sled with the Weber turbo motor in it and have heard of people doing the motor swaps with the 800s but haven't found one write up about the swap. Was also wondering why more people didn't go the root of the Weber swap instead of adding a turbo to the 800 motor because even in stock form the Weber has 130hp and with a 2012 flashed ECU they are around the 175 HP range.
Money in trash This bike is limited in ecu This shit kit maybe give u 5 hp in best scenario Need full dyno tuning to unlock real stuff
We are anECU flash tuning company and we also carry Dynojet products. We have done all the d restriction stuff in the ECU as well as any additional tuning in the AC that the power commander can't do. Then we are using the power commander to control the fuel map. The wide band is installed so that way we can monitor the AFR with an AFR gauge installed on the dash. Awesome video! I know it's an old video but it's a perfect explanation. Tyvm
I got a lot of newer videos out as well. Thank you for leaving a reply on the channel And thank you for subscribing to the channel. I'm glad to see even my older videos are still helping somebody out along the way.
@@BLRTUNING I'll check them out man. Had my Koso 170cc 4v build capped at 9500 rpm's. Watched this & 10 mins later had it in my bike @12k.
Is there any replacement mounts for the cluster to attach things to. Just bought a used Ryker with this mod. But I would still like to install a windshield. But notice they all install to the back of the cluster.
I think once you do this cluster relocation you also are getting rid of any chances of mailing a windshield or anything like that at least going by with a parts that exist right now. Until someone creates something but nothing has came out that I've seen
@@BLRTUNING you'd think they would have created a track mount. For this reason.
You would think so. Nothing I've seen yet though
Bill, I have a huge favor to ask regarding the Z H2. I swapped out my levers for Pro-brake levers and in the process broke my clutch side kill switch which in turn completely disables my cruise control. The two 3mm philips head screws that have to come off the kill switch to get to the cruise switch are loctited like every other freaking bolt on this bike. Could you please take a look and see if/how to get these out without stripping them or having to drill them out?
I haven't had to take that apart yet so not something I'm super familiar with on this bike just yet. I have found that damn near every single bolt is a lot tighted quite a bit. My best suggestion would be use a brand new 3 mm Allen and turn it very slowly while tapping on the back of the wrench or socket that you're using with the butt end of a screwdriver. I found that this trick works really good for getting stubborn bolts out.
@@BLRTUNING They are soft aluminum phillips head screws. :-( But thanks for the tip! I was also thinking maybe holding a hot soldering iron against the screw for 5-10 minutes and see if it heats up enough to soften the thread locker
Do i use 5.8 socket on ryker 600
The aftermarket NGK plugs are indeed a ⅝ deep socket.
Can u give me part num on Ryker 600 spark plugs
They're available on our website we ship them anywhere in the US. We inspect every single spark plug and pre-gap it so it is ready to install when you receive it. You can get them at the following link. Be sure to select the right ones we sell them for the 600 and the 900 you'll see a checkbox that you can click on. www.blrtuning.co/products/can-am-ryker-ngk-iridium-spark-plugs-fits-2019-2022-600-900-rally-sport
FYI Im pretty sure you got that mounted Upside Down. I’ve got the same model and I can’t flip screens in the settings. Always ride Rubber Side Down!🤙🏼
You can definitely flip the screen to whatever orientation you want. That's standard on all models of power vision. It gives you versatility on how you want to mount it. You can mount it in any orientation you want and flip the screen in the settings. There is no upside down or right side up. They're designed like this on purpose. So no it's not upside down....
Hello. I just orderd a cam and this tuner .well i know i will need a custom tune but as im installing a cam but can i email u the stock tune for acustom tune with no computer?
If you using a Dynojet PV4 then you don't need a computer to do any of this. You only need a computer if you're using a dynojet PV3. Send me an email we'll go over all the details. BLRTUNING.TECH@GMAIL.COM
Will this help my rear breather tube leak problem
This is used for venting the crankcase. If your bike is building up too much pressure and causing the oil to foam up or rise higher than normal then you just need to vent the crankcase
I love you so much for this
Thank you for stopping by the RUclips channel It is greatly appreciated. If you haven't already please be sure to subscribe. It helps out tremendously. Feel free to check out our website. Have a wonderful day. www.blrtuning.co
im willing to bet these will fit the z900 as well looks just like the same on my z900
We are currently working on updating our website I haven't looked at the part number between the two of them yet to see if it's the same. Sure does look the same though
Just cleared the Belt Maintenance code with the PV3 I bought from you last year. Worth it! TY
Glad to hear it.
